In 2013, the Alabama Institute of Medicine (AIM) was established. AIM is a non-profit (501c3) organization committed to funding research that will lead toward treatments and cures for chronic disease and injury. AIMﾒs mission was to undertake and support initiatives at research institutions that focus on developing new therapeutic methodologies for the treatment of all disease and injury.
