Red River Valley Research Corridor was established

In 2002, The Red River Valley Research Corridor was established by U.S. Senator Byron Dorgan. The corridor is located along Interstate 29 and is anchored by the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University.

Since 2002, the corridor has attracted $300 million in funding for high tech research and supporting infrastructure.
