Pfizer and BioNTech submitted a variation to EMA for vaccination of children ages 6 months to less than 5 Years with COMIRNATY

On Jul. 8, 2022, Pfizer and BioNTech announced that the companies had submitted a variation to the European Medicines Agency requesting to update the Conditional Marketing Authorization in the European Union with data supporting the vaccination of children 6 months to less than 5 years of age (also referred to as 6 months through 4 years of age) with the 3-ᄉg dose of COMIRNATY (COVID-19 vaccine, mRNA) as a three dose series.
