Pfizer and BioNTech provided EU more than 200 million additional doses of COMIRNATY for vaccine supply
On Dec. 20, 2021, Pfizer and BioNTech announced an agreement had been reached with the European Commission (EC) and its member states to exercise an option to purchase more than 200 million additional doses of COMIRNATY, the companiesメ COVID-19 vaccine.
These 200 million doses were in addition to the 450 million doses already planned to be delivered in 2022 based on previously signed agreements.
