In 2004, the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) opened the state’s first small animal magnetic resonance imaging facility. It is one of only a dozen such facilities in the entire U.S.
Today, scientists throughout the world use the facility to study brain disease, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
