
Moderna announced shipment of 100 millionth dose of its COVID-19 vaccine to the U.S. Government
On Mar. 29, 2021, Moderna announced that the Company has shipped the 100-millionth dose of its COVID-19 vaccine to the U.S. Government.
More than 67 million doses of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine had been administered to-date in the U.S., according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is authorized for use under an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for active immunization to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in individuals 18 years of age and older. Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is investigational and not approved by U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
