Mayo Clinic received $15 million gift to jump-start new ideas, transform patient care
On Oct. 30, 2019, philanthropist Jay Alix extended his generosity with an additional $15 million endowed gift to the Mayo Clinic. The fund provide resources directed by the Mayo Clinic president and CEO to advance innovative ideas with the potential to transform health care.
In 1981, Mr. Alix, an expert in corporate turnarounds and restructurings, founded AlixPartners.
