On Dec. 15, 2005, Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) announced the completion of its acquisition of San Diego, CA based custom oligonucleotide supplier GenBase.

The acquisition, which resulted in the establishment of a new IDT West Coast Operations division, gave the company an immediate, locally based, next-day oligo production capability in the heart of the California biotech industry, as well as access to GenBase’s local knowledge and industry experience.
