Great cats tested presumptive positive for COVID-19 at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo

On Sept. 17, 2021, the lions and tigers at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo were reported testing presumptive positive for the virus that causes COVID-19. All great cats were treated with medication and were closely observed.
