Dr. Mary Carpenter became the first female member of OMRF’s scientific staff
In 1954, Dr. Mary Carpenter became the first female member of Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) scientific staff when she joined the biochemistry section.
Dr. Carpenter became a noted expert on metabolism, prostagladins and biomembranes.
