On Mar. 2, 2021, The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the WHO, as co-leads of the COVAX initiative for equitable global access to COVID-19 vaccines, published COVAXﾒs first round of allocations.

The first round of allocation outlined delivery of doses of the AZ/Oxford vaccine ﾖ manufactured by AstraZeneca (AZ) and COVISHIELD, licensed to and manufactured by Serum Institute of India (SII/AZ) ﾖ to Facility participants.
