DUB Therapeutics is developing a self-delivering siRNA (sdRNA). It can penetrate cells without additional reagents to specifically target a gene that modulates scarring in order to promote corneal wound healing for patients with persistent corneal epithelial defect, or wounds in the cornea that don't heal. These wounds could be from mechanical injuries, burns, infections or surgery.
