In 2007, Cocrystal Discovery, now known as Cocrystal Pharma, was founded in Bothell as a pharmaceutical company with a mission to discover novel antiviral therapeutics as treatments for serious and/or chronic viral diseases. On Jan. 2, 2014, the company acquired Biozone Pharmaceuticals through a reverse merger transaction.
