CDC published updated ACIP recommendations for human papillomavirus vaccination of adults

On Aug. 16, 2019, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published updated Immunization Practices Advisory Committee recommendations for human papillomavirus vaccination of adults.

Vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV) is routinely recommended at age 11 or 12 years. Catch-up recommendations applied to persons not vaccinated at age 11 or 12 years.
