On Nov. 10, 2023, the CDC estimated that from Oct. 1, 2023, through Nov. 11, 2023, there were between 780,000 -1.6 million flu illnesses, 360,000-770,000 flu-related medical visits, 8,000 to 17,000 flu-related hospitalizations, and 490-1,500 flu-related deaths. Estimates were based on Influenza Hospitalization Surveillance Network data.
