CDC published ACIP recommendations on use of a third dose of MMR during a mumps outbreak
On Jan. 12, 2018, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Immunization Practices Advisory Committee Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) reviewed the available evidence and determined that a third dose of measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine was safe and effective at preventing mumps.
