On Oct. 27, 2021, Fulgent Genetics announced that it had launched an antibody test for COVID-19 which specifically targeted neutralizing antibodies. Unlike typical antibody tests that detect all antibodies in patients, Fulgentﾒs antibody test specifically detected the level of neutralizing antibodies in patients from a recent COVID-19 infection, or those who have been vaccinated against the virus.
