Antimicrobial Resistance Laboratory Network established by U.S. CDC
In 2016, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced the establishment of the Antimicrobial Resistance (AR) Laboratory Networks to support lab testing in health care, the community, and the environment (e.g., water, soil).
This work ultimately improves patient care, enhances public health, and informs solutions against resistance threats.
