On Dec. 18, 2009, the MUSC and the South Carolina Research Authority opened the Innovation Center in Charleston. The fully-renovated facility attracts and supports start-up companies with wet lab and equipment space, primarily in concert with entrepreneurs commercializing MUSC research.
