In 2006, Penn, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Wistar Institute, the Monell Institute and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia won the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) funded under the NIH Roadmap, making ITMAT the academic home for the program.
