On Jul. 18, 2005, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) announced receipt of a five-year, $10 million award from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that resulted in broader access for Oregonians to the NCI’s vast national network of cancer expertise.

The OHSU Cancer Institute was the first and only cancer research and care center in Oregon to earn a place in the prestigious NCI Cancer Centers Program.
