On Feb. 11, 2005, Autism Speaks was founded in New York City by Bob and Suzanne Wright, grandparents of Christian who was diagnosed with autism in 2004.

Bob Wright was Vice Chairman, General Electric and Chairman & CEO, NBC Universal.
