ZymoGenetics dedicated Seattle’s historic Lake Union Steam Plant
On Sept. 8, 1994, ZymoGenetics dedicated Seattle’s historic Lake Union Steam Plant. The renovated 113,000 s.f. plant doubled Zymo’s existing facility footage. Construction of the $25 million project began in the spring of 1993 and was completed in Jun. 1994.
Beginning in 1988, ZymoGenetics served as the primary U.S. discovery arm of Novo Nordisk, contributing to the development of several of Novo Nordisk’s current marketed products and pipeline candidates.
