In 1991, Life Sciences BC, a non-profit industry association (LBC) formerly known as BC Biotech, was  founded. The LBC is committed to championing and representing British Columbia’s vibrant life sciences community

The LBC supports and represents the biotechnology, medical device, and greater life sciences community of British Columbia through leadership, advocacy and promotion of the industry.
