The University of Minnesota Cancer Center received NCI designation

In 1987, the University of Minnesota Cancer Center, now known as the Masonic Cancer Center, received National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation.
It is now part of the University’s Academic Health Center, which also includes the Medical School, School of Dentistry, School of Nursing, College of Pharmacy, School of Public Health and College of Veterinary Medicine.
