The CDC began a Preventative Medicine Residency program
In 1972, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) began a Preventative Medicine Residency (PMR/F) program to prepare graduates for leadership roles in public health and general preventive medicine. PMR/F has developed public health leaders skilled in program evaluation, management, policy, and population health improvement. The PMR/F experiences strengthen participantsメ abilities to bridge medicine and public health, preparing graduates for leadership roles at the domestic and global levels.
