Stanford Hospital restricted maternity visiting hour In an effort to help new mothers rest and become acquainted with handling their infants

In 1970, in an effort to help new mothers rest and become acquainted with handling their infants, Stanford Hospital restricted maternity visiting hours to two periods a day: an hour and a half in the afternoon and an hour and a half in the evening.

Although general hospital visiting hours were expanded the previous year, モit has been found that these hours are not in the best interests of maternity patients,ヤ explained Lois Williams, Assistant Director of Nursing Services.
