Mylan relocated from White Sulphur Springs to Morgantown

In 1965, Mylan moved to Morgantown, West Virginia and begin manufacturing various over-the-counter products the next year. In 1961, Mylan, first known as Milan, the began doing business in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. U.S. Army buddies, Milan “Mike” Puskar and Don Panoz flipped a coin to see who would name the business and who will be the companyメs first president. They start distributing products to doctors and pharmacists from an old Pontiac Bonneville.

In November 2020, Viatris was formed through the combination of Mylan and Upjohn, with a mission of empowering people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life.
