Dr. Herman Biggs issued information to New York state newspapers warning the public about the impending influenza epidemic
On Sept. 27, 2018, New York State Health Commissioner Dr. Herman Biggs issued information to New York state newspapers warning the public about the impending influenza epidemic. He also invited all New York physicians to report frequently the incense of influenza and pneumonia.
He also asked all New York physicians to report at frequent intervals the prevalence of influenza and pneumonia in their localities.
