On Oct. 1, 2015, The Kavli Foundation announced a $20 million award to establish the Kavli Neural Systems at Rockefeller University.
The Kavli NSI at Rockefeller represented a portion of a $100 million commitment of new funds to enable research aimed at deepening our understanding of the brain and brain-related disorders, such as traumatic brain injuries, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease.
