On Apr. 4, 2014, Lowell Miller, a resident of Loch Lloyd, Mo., made a gift of $1.1 million to the UM Department of Biochemistry, housed in the MU College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources and the MU School of Medicine. The gift created the Lowell D. Miller Endowed Chair in Biochemistry.
